 Bulk Nutrition - CutFest 2007 Forum Member Competition April 4, 2007 through July 04, 2007. This is a non-sanctioned contest sponored by Bulk Nutrition and the volunteer mods to bring fun and fitness to our members by providing a goal for them to aim in getting in shape. Besides bragging rights of being the winner of CutFest 2007, the prizes are as listed: 1st Place Winner: 1 - 10lb bag of ON's 100% [PLINK=4615]Whey Protein - Gold Standard[/PLINK] 1 - 500 grams Bulk BCAA’s1 - 500 Grams Creatine Ethyl Ester HCl1 - $40 Gift Voucher for purchasing products of your choice 2nd Place Winner: 1 - $40 Gift Voucher 3rd Place Winner: 1 - $20 Gift Voucher Prizes are subject to availability and must be claimed within 30 days of announcement of contest winner. RULES 1. This contest is for bragging rights on being named the Bulk Nutrition CutFest 2007 winner. 2. This is a No-Holds Barred Contest, therefore product use is unlimited. However, normal supplements must be\can be bought from Bulk Nutrition for listing purposes. This will allow customers to know what products worked and are attached to the main store. Using this method, we can attach your contest log to the main products page and visitors from the store can review your contest logs. It will give a much better writeup than the reviews sections on the main store. 3. Contestants must list all supplements your taking, including multi's, protein, etc.... that you bought from Bulk Nutrition. You can add or take away whatever you want throughout the contest as long as it fits rule #2. 4. Contestants must maintain a log/journal for your ongoing results. 5. Contestants must post starting and ending pictures in your log. Your starting pictures must contain a picture of you holding up a piece of paper with a special code a mod will assign after you contact us for entry. All codes will be different for each contestant. The same special code rule applies to the ending pictures. You must contact a mod at the end to get the special code and post it in your picture. It is to prove the validity of the pictures and your current psychical shape. Posting of progressive pics throughout the contest is highly encouraged. The Seven Mandatory Compulsory Poses for comparing beginning and ending pics: *Front Double Biceps *Front Lat Spread *Side Chest *Back Double Biceps *Back Lat Spread *Side Triceps *Front Abdominal-Thigh Isolation 6. Contestants can ask for any training/dieting/motivation assistance from any Bulk Nutrition forum member you feel you need throughout the contest. 7. Voting will be done via a forum poll of the contestants. We don't want the final part to be a popularity contest. If the final results of the poll show that it is a popularity contest OR anything other than a fun fitness contest, then the Mods and Admins will decide the winner. 8. We thought to help keep it fair in the poll, people MUST put why they think this person should win. That way we get a feel for where they are coming from and not just picking someone because they like them. If there is not an accurate count of explanatory replies in this voting thread to the amount of votes, some votes won't count. If it looks like this happened, the final voting decision will be based on a unanimous decision from the Mods and Admins. 9. Contestants\Voters must be an active and contributing BN forum member from October 1, 2006(6 months) with a minimum of a 250 post count. Anyone with less than that amount needs a Mod's approval along with two long time respected BN Forum member references. 10. The last contestant entry date will be 5/4/07. That will be a month for people to enter, and the latest one will still have 2 months to show good results. 11. The winner will be announced July 15th.

 I had someone PM me with some very good questions. So I was thinking that I should post those questions and my answers for everyone to hopefully clear up some things. ---------------- Hi, sorry to bother you again. But i just wanted to clear some of my question up. 1. First off, to start my log, should i just go ahead and create a journal log named "CutFest Log". I wasn't sure if i needed to contact an admin or not, so thats why I'm asking. GD: You can go ahead and create the log. Actually, your supposed to create it immediately when I give you the code, along with posting pictures with the code. It's for the accuracy factor. Make sure somewhere in the title it says CutFest 2007 or something like that so I can find it and pin it. 2. Another question, is there certain questions I have to answer in the first post of my log?(i read what all i have to put but I'm not sure if theres more)For example, my goals for the log, my starting weight, what all do i need to put? GD: The basic stuff from the Posting Journals Guidelines sticky of making journals, supps, weight, age, height, etc. The more you put in, the better. 3. Another, for my starting pictures, do i have to post my starting pictures right now? I really don't even like to look at my own self in the mirror lol, now with them being on the net for everyone.. I was hopefully planning on posting them with my final pictures once the date comes around you know, so when people try and make fun of me i can say "well look at me now". GD: See #1. It's for the accuracy of the contest of what you looked like at that moment. Don't be ashamed of how you look, you did it to yourself, so now you are trying to fix it in the contest. Be proud of your drive to fix it, that's why your here. 4. My last question, now that i have the code, and its on a piece of paper, do i have to take all of my pictures with me holding it? or is just one good enough, cause it'll be hard for me to do multiple posses with it. GD: Only one picture for each code given is really needed, just as long as we can tell it's you and it's the same person the the following pictures. Some people will try anything to cheat just to win, even our simple fun fitness contests. It's pretty sad, but I have seen it before. Hope this helps everyone. GD

If other people feel comfortable with the pics, I won't push the rule. If it comes down to a debate of legitimacy, then I'll enforce the rule of getting the code to update the pics. So far everyone has been on top of their game, so if no one complains about anyone, then we are good to go.
