I have purchased Abb Hardcore pak twice. Its pretty good because it has a a lot of extras and at least %100 or more of all the vitamins you need. Its way to expensive though and will only last you 20 days...What do you people think?.

That's definitely not a bad multi, but I think it's a bit too expensive for what you're getting. Optimum's Opti-Men isn't bad, and Now Foods has some decent, inexpensive multis.

i use ISS Research's VM complete. it's pretty cheap and seems to be made for the athlete in mind. I also use their ZMA which runs about the same price. Both bottles last you 30 days.

 | QUOTE (Loki @ May 21 2004, 09:41 AM) | | I like Centrum Silver, since it's probably the best Iron-free multivitamin I've come across as of yet... |
Are you joking?. I thought centrum was crap. Aren't there products synthetic instead of from natural sources?. I have read that synthetic vitamins don't absorb as well and don't dissolve sticking to the colon wall?..Also centrum puts only tiny bits of each vitamin so they can say they have a lot of different vitamins...but its pointless at such minute amounts.

On training days, I use a synthetic multi (Beverly Int. -Opti Pak) and on non-training days, I use a food based multi (Garden of Life- Living Multi.) Centrum is sheeaat and all that "If you eat balanced you don't need a multi," is bull shit. Our soil is so depleted of important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants from being over used, and who honestly eats enough fruits, veges, grains, calcium and so on every single day. Get a good multi and cover all bases.
