Okay, sorry for the delay. I had to work first thing yesterday morning and then of course, the awesome Gator game last night. Enough.

Height: 5'10
Weight: 197
Diet: Very, very clean. Carb-cycling.
Goal: As is everyone's goal for the summer, cut some fat, keep some muscle and hopefully gain some.
Workout: Each muscle group twice/week. Cardio twice/week. Right now doing 12 rep sets for 2 weeks and then decreasing reps.

I typically workout in the morning, so I have a shake when i wake-up. I then bring water mixed with purple wraath to the gym. I also pop the GB and WB when I first wake-up.

Monday night's workout. 4/3

I popped the GB and WB before I left work and by the time I got to the gym I was really pumped up. Unfortunately, I have to attribute this to getting off work early and the Gator game later that night. I had a great workout. Nothing out of the ordinary yet.

Tuesday morning 4/4.

Great workout this morning. I had almost painful pumps in my biceps at the end of the workout and that is unusual for me. I didn't vary much in my typical exercises or weight so that was new.

I had plenty of energy for the duration of the workout and like I said, huge biceps pump.

Also, after taking the pills twice I have had a couple of burps within 5 minutes of taking them and I could almost taste the powder.

As for the taste of purple wraath, it's not the best, but hey, be a man and drink it down.

Had a great HIIT this evening. I drank some PW on the way to work this morning. Took GB and WB before I left work this evening and by the time I got to the gym it had been about 45 minutes. I honestly can say that I've never been so ready to do HIIT. I performed HIIT on the treadmill for about 13 minutes. I'm not a big sprinter but tonight seemed a little easier than usual. I wasn't as tired and I was able to breath a little easier.

FOr a little background, I had been doing HIIT twice/week for about 3 weeks, took a week off due to an odd work schedule. Tonight was my first one in a week so for me to feel this good after a week off, for me, was a bit odd. But, I loved it nonetheless. I hope this lasts.

I have noticed that if you add the PW to your PWO shake, it offers a slightly noticeable grape taste. I have the chocolate ON protein and adding this makes it taste even better. I also add a banana and 3 small strawberries to my shakes and the grape seemed to "accentuate" the taste smile.gif

Today was a lower carb day, pretty low fat day, and high protein.

I been wondering how that would taste mixed with a shake. I'll have to give that a try.

It's pretty good, like I said, it adds a slight grape flavor.

My shake:

1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup oats
1 banana
3 small strawberries
1 seving PW
blend for about 1.5 minutes

I wouldn’t recommend adding the Purple wraath to a protein shake or even taking them within 30 minutes of each other. the benefits of EAAs are taking them by themselves so they don’t compete with the other aminos in the whole protein.

Sorry I haven't updated this weekend as I was out of town but I was still able to get a workout in.

Controlled Labs - I will NOT be adding the PW to my shakes anymore.

Thursday morning I did chest, tris, and back. I must say I was very pumped and sore from the middle of my chest workout on. Tris were quite pumped and I could definitely feel the back workout when I usually don't. I must say, something is working and I can feel the difference. I was disappointed that I was that sore from the Monday workout that I was still able to feel it on Thursday. Recovery time has not seemed to increase so far sad.gif

Friday - Rest

Saturday - Another great workout of legs, shoulders, and bis. I felt the pump immediatley in the leg workout and almost couldn't finish during the bi's portion. I wouldn't say that these are painful pumps. I guess I'm just not used to having such a pump during the workout. I usually get a small one but these are larger than what I have previously experienced. I am typing this Sunday night and my bi's are incredibly sore, to the point where it hurts to flex. Not complaining, just letting you know what I feel.

Sunday - rest

Monday - tomorrow is chest, tris, and back. I have no soreness anywhere in the muscle groups so let's hope it stays that way during the workout and doesn't just "appear" like it did on Thursday.

Diet has been steady, no major cheats and still managed to eat clean while being out of town. However, I do know that I probably didn't drink enough water, possible relation to the bi pump pain? I think so smile.gif

Wow is all I can say at this point. WOrked chest, tris, and back today. Again today I really felt the pump midway through my first set (3 sets of 12 flat bench). I was able to push though the rest of my workout which was a nice feeling being able to continue. The pump was pretty intense though.

After working tris my arms were shaking like they honestly haven't done before. 3 hours after my workout, if I put my hands down on a table to kind of lean and support myself, they would shake. Something that has never happened before.

Definitely felt the back workout during the seated row and wide grip chins smile.gif

I had to do something work related about 3 hours after the workout and a couple of the staff had I asked what I did because I looked fuller and "buff". It was a great feeling and I think I have to actually bite the bullet and say that yes, this stack is working smile.gif

Monday morning workout was great.

Squats
Leg Ext.
Leg Curl

Shoulder Press (barbell)
Upright Row
SAD

Seated dbell curl
Hammer Curl
Reverse barbell curl

BTW, I do 2-3 sets with 12 reps. Work each group twice/week. Next week I drop to 10 reps.

I felt the legs immediately and was walking around with jelly legs the rest of the workout. Went up in all three exercises 5 - 10 pounds and was able to complete all sets.

As far as shoulders go I went up 10 pounds on the first 2 exercises and 5on each shoulder for the SAD. I could feel the pump but was able to complete all.

For biceps, holy shit. Went up 5 for the hammer and 10 for reverse curl. At the end of the workout, I could barely reach up to scratch my ear. It was difficult to take my shirt off (pulling it off over my head).

I weighed in today at 195 (2 pounds lighter than last week). I attribute that to lack of eating what I need to this past weekend. I ate healthy but not enough.

It's Wednesday mornng and I'm pretty sore. Mainly chest and tris from my Monday workout. I really started feeling the DOMS yesterday early afternoon. Remember how I said my arms were shaking hours after the Monday workout, well, my tris are the muscle group that are the most sore. I can feel the muscles when I fully extend my arm to a straight position.

Have never really had DOMS like this in my tris so I'm not really sure what this is about. Maybe my strength AND intensity have both jumped up as a result of this stack?? I have also noticed increased vascularity in my arms during the workouts mostly and somewhat throughout the day (always a plus smile.gif

TOnight I will be doing HIIT and give another update.

My work schedule has finally begun to straighten out so there will be no more 6am start days and no more 11:30 end nights. THis also means an even stricter, cleaner diet.

Wednesday night

HIIT for about 15 minutes on the treadmill and about 5 minutes on the stair climber. Actually increaed my sprint speed and duration and was able to keep the "rest" period the same. Felt great!!!

Thursday morning

Chest, tris, and back

Chest
flat bench
incline dbell
flat bench cable flyes

Tris
Pushdown
Kickbacks
Plate raise

Back
Pullover
Lat Pulldown
Rear Delt

I don't know guys...my recuperation from Monday was not the best. I was still sore from that day and was supposed to go up in weight, but to make sure I did all my reps and sets, I had to keep them the same. I was very disapoointed but still stayed focused throughout the entire workout.

THe weird thing is, usually my legs stay sore the longest and my chest/tris are good to go. It seems to have switched during this testing period. My legs are always good to go and my chest/tris are always sore. Just another observation.

Friday morning

Shoulders, bi's, and legs

Dumbell press
Cable Pressdowns
SAD

EZ Bar Curl
Incline Hammer curl
Concentration

Leg Extension
Leg CUrl
Leg Press

Everything felt great, good pumps in all muscle groups and unlike last time when I couldn't use my bis after the workout, they are capable of their normal function.

Have alittle more of a pump in my legs though, more than usual.

Energy is constant and unlike previous times in the gym without this stack, it seems as if I'm able to get those last 2 reps done where as in the past I would stop. Guess some of it is mental and some stamina/strength.

SO far so good. I really am enjoying this stack and am saving up to purchase in the future smile.gif

If you guys/gals want me to include any other information please let me know. This is for all of you.

Took the weekend off as is my routine.

Monday and Tuesday were typical workouts. I have DOM from my chest workout yesterday but the tris arent as sore as they were last week. I also increased my weights on all exercises and decreased reps from 12 to 10. Weight is steady but am noticing fat loss and increased vascularity. Nothing new to report except that my recovery is not improving.

WOW!!! What a great workout this evening. DOn't know what the deal was but it was great. I moved up weight on all exercises and felt I could definitely move up more but didn't want to cause injury to myself or push too hard. Exercises included:

Leg Press
Calf Raise
Leg Curl

Dbell Shoulder Press
SAD
Upright Row

EZ Curl
Standing hammer curl
Concentration curl

I had plenty of energy and could have worked out longer but like I said, I didn't want to get carried away. Today, I took the WB and GB about 1 1/2 hours before the workout. Usually, it's about a 40 minute difference. Will try this out again tomorrow and see what happens.

Last night I got home around 7:30 and not sure what I was feeling but I had a lot extra energy and decided to go for a light jog for about 20 minutes until it started raining. I never feel like just heading out for a jog so this was a nice surprise and I definitely took advantage of it.

I am off from lifting this weekend but will try to throw in some HIIT and possibly another jog. Will keep you updated.
