Hi,

I'm planning to order a bag of Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein, and I don't like chocolate so I need to choose vanilla or strawberry, which flavor did you like??

Although not my product of choice anymore, the vanilla is certainly better than strawberry.

The fruity protein are only good for so long. Remember, you're going to be drinking this for awhile so your best bet is to stick with flavors you can get used to.

Thanks for the info.. I was afraid the strawberry was gonna have a chemical taste..

Vanilla? Do you REALLY not like Chocolate? Because I found the Vanilla tasted WACK. I personally would point you towards the Stawberry. I think the Chocolate is the best, hands down, but-- if that's not your thing-- go the fruit-route...

Never tried strawberry, but I like vanilla more over chocolad (may be cuz I ve been using chocolad flavor for last 10 months and I just got vanilla and it tastes different?)

They all taste GOOD, don't sweat it

ON 100% Chocolate is the only protein I haven't gotten sick of, and I've literally tried dozens...I'm going to pick up a tub of the Vanilla next time to try it out...

chocolate wins hands down. strawberry is... well, let's just say that if you're going to pound every single shake you make while holding your breath, it's not terrible. if you are planning on actually tasting the stuff, and you reeeeeeally don't like chocolate, then get vanilla. oh, and for why ON is not preferred, check out fletch's sig on the AL boards... unless someone around here knows and wants to tell the whole story.

I like Vanilla MUCH more than chocolate. At least with ON. Chocolate Mint is also nice... better than regular, IMO. But I'll still take vanilla over both. Better contents, more protein, and even mixes better.

What's the story with ON? I have about 10 pounds next to me, don't tell me it's bad now.

The only non isolate protein I can drink consistently without gagging is the ON 100% Chocolate Mint. It tastes soooooo good. I really didnt even like the ON 100% Chocholate at all, but the Chocholate Mint is great.

I like the Mint as well, but it does have more sugar and fat...
I'm usually not that anal, but when it comes to something which I eat every day then it is important.

I was gonna get ON chocolate 100% Whey Protien and mix it with ice, milk, and strawberries for somewhat of a smoothie cancaution...i used a different chocalte protein and this method and it tastes pretty good...

I use to be really big on ON whey products. I have since changed brands. I have tried most of the flavors. I thought most were quite tasty at the time.

This is just a thought.....I believe one should by a variety of flavors instead of depending on just one flavor to meet ones need nutritionally and as far as taste goes. I’m currently enjoying 3 different flavors.

I believe this strategy keeps one from "burning out" on one flavor.
