 Cut Fest 2007!!Hey guys, i know another journal eh? Anyways, I've decided to partake in Cut Fest 2007. I think it will motivate me more then anything. Even if I don't win, which I'd like to of course, who wouldn't, i know that to me ill still be a winner because of actually going through with this. I think this cut should be a lot easier then all my others, just because this time i actually am mentally prepared, i know what i want, what i'm doing it for, and what the outcome will be. My diets have been like a roll-a-coaster, I once weighed 267, and dieted down to 239, and gained back up... The only thing im worried about during this cut, is having surgery on my wisdom teeth. I will be out of the gym for about a week, and not able to eat solid foods, but thats what protein shakes are for right? I'm excited to start this log, and with this log started, i know that nothing but good can come out of this. I'd like to wish everyone else who is competing in cut fest 2007 good luck, and I hope you guys succeed in loosing weight. Main meats will be turkey, chicken and fish. Will be eating oatmeal, brown rice, salads, fruits and veggies besides that, Cardio/Weight TrainingFor cardio, I will be using the H.I.T program. I will try to run everyday, atleast for 20min, or more. For my weight training, i will be going to the gym at least 3x a week. I will keep the reps low, and the sets around 4-5, going heavy of course.

 Monday April 9thWell I really didn't get much sleep last night. I stayed up from 1am- to current time, and will not probly go to sleep till 8 or so. I went to the gym today, and have a pretty good workout, worked my legs. I think ill be going to the gym every day this week. Anyways, heres my diet for today, o and i finally go those pics up. Meal 1: Oatmeal, lean chicken, 1 scoop whey protein with water Meal 2: Steak biscuit from bojangles Meal 3: 1 Scoop whey protein with water. Meal 4: Lean chicken with whole wheat bread Meal 5: Maybe some greens? veggies? with some meat. Meal 6: Hopefully some cottage cheese. Today i worked out legs, and lower back. I did squats, bent over rows, single arm rows, 1 or 2 sets of curls, and lat pull down. I Think ill be in the gym atleast 4 days this week. Im going to go get the rest of my 1 gallon of water in. hopefully ill get 1 gallon and a half.

 Tuesday April 10thWell today i can't make it to the gym, so im going to try and eat as clean as possible. im pretty tired after last night sooo. Meal 1: 2 scoops whey protein, water, banana Meal 2: Sliced chicken, piece of bread Meal 3:1 scoop whey protein with water Meal 4:1 slice pizza Meal 5: ribs with ramen noodles. Meal 6:Well yeah, unorganized day.. o well tommorow will be better for sure.

 Wednesday April 11thWell went to the gym today, had an awsome back and lat workout. Kept the food really clean except for one meal, which was high in fat i think... Went to the oral surgent today, and was told i would have to have my wisdom teeth removed on the 17th of this month.... alot earlier then i expected. But atleast i have my protein shakes. Tommorow i think ill get up early and go running, or maybe ill do that later on in the evening, all depending on what i go to the gym. I'm starting off on the right foot by preparing my meals earlier on in the week so that i wont be tempted to cheat. Going to do that after i finish posting here actually. Meal 1: 2 scoops whey protein, 1 slice of whole wheat bread. Meal 2: 1 home made deli sandwich (low fat and low carbs) Meal 3: Ribs with romen noodles (my high fat meal of the day i think?) Meal 4: Some lean chicken slices, with some salad Meal 5: same as meal 4 Meal 6: Cottage cheese maybe?

 Thursday April 12thOverall it was a good day today. I was really happy with myself for actually getting my ass outside and going to jog/walk 1.5miles on a mountain. It's hard enough for me as it is just to jog/walk a mile by itself on flat ground, yet alone a dam mountain. I ate pretty clean today, besides 1-2 scoops white rice, and a small piece of chocolate. Had a great workout today too. Meal 1: 1 scoop whey protein, water, half a banana Meal 2: chicken sandwich, whole wheat bread, low fat mayo Meal 3: Tuna fish with a spoon of white rice. Meal 4: 1 Lean chicken breast with whole wheat bread, low fat cheese and mayo Meal 5: Cottage cheese(piece of chocolate  ) Meal 6: 1 scoop whey protein, with water Today i worked out chest and tri's, i did peck deck machine 4x10, incline bench press 2x10,1x6, then flat flyes 3x10. For tri's i did push downs? 3x10, cable single armed push downs 3x10, and one other excerise i forgot what its called. Today was the first day in my life that when i flexed my tri's they actually felt like they were going to xplode, awsome feeling, never had that happen to me with any other muscle.

 Friday 13thWell i slept for 12 hours last night, which is prettyyyy dam crazy. I didn't get to go to the gym to, so ill just go running later i think. I got off to a bad start on my diet today, but ill still try and keep it as lean as possible. Meal 1: cereal, milk, 1 chicken breast Meal 2: tuna fish with 1 scoop low fat mayo Meal 3: lean chicken meat, with whole wheat bread Meal 4: brown rice and chicken or fish?  Well Sat, and Sunday were my days off, of dieting, and weight training, so no use of posting that. As some of you know, i said that i would be having my wisdom teeth surgery soon, which is Tommrow (Tuesday) so today, since i wont be able to eat solid foods for a while, i kinda... well bulked up if you will. I still went to they gym and tried to hit most of my body parts, cause this will be the last time i will be in the gym for a week or so. Maybe more?  Today for chest, i did 2x4 185, and then 1x10 145 flat bench, Then cable flyes, 2x10 for low level, 2x10 for mid level, 2x10 for higher. Then Tricep pushdowns, 3x12 120lbs. Shrugs, 2x10 for 135, and then 1x10 225. Dumbell Curls 2x12 30lbs. Uhhh, forgot what it's called, but it's like when your bent over on a flat bench, and 1 knees resting on the bench, and your other foot is on the floor, and the dumbell is in ur hand, and your doing the motion of like starting a push lawnmower... anyways, i dont know how i just forgot it.. i did 3x10 75 lbs. Well that was my workout, i think i did too much, as of staying in the gym to long.. anyways, i was happy that i got 185x4, i knew i could got that 6 on the first one. Hopefully when im recovering from my surgery i wont loose to much muscle/strenght.

 Just a lil update on me and how my recovery is comming. Today was my First time eating anything in 36 hours, so yea i was extremely weak, and dizy etc etc. It felt so good that i eat, but i didn't get to really eat anything solid (only cream of wheat, jello, protein shake), that was pretty much my diet for today. So far during my recovery and surgery, i've missed 2 days of school, tommorow will make three(Thursday) In total ive missed 8 days so far, so i have to go to Saturday School to make up 2 of those days  (( about.. Anyways, I'm doing better then i thought i would? I woudl really like to eat a peice of fucking meat lol, but i guess the protein shakes/ensure/and jellos will have to do for now. Hopefully i'll be back in the Gym for Monday, and i won't get to behind in school.
