Most people usually just take it
straight. It probably could be used for cooking, but for our purposes most people will just take it either by the tbsp or in a shake or something similar. It's very rich in
omega-3 fatty acids which have a host of good effects in our bodies including increased fat metabolism, increased hormone production (testosterone, namely), and helps balance out the
omega-3/6/9 ratio in our body. This is important because the regular "American" diet is extremely high in omega-6's and a good balance promotes optimal health. This is all very dumbed-down but you get the idea.
