I have this unnatural fear of flying, and have had it for as long as I can remember. Last week my wife and I went to Aruba. I haven't been on a plane since flying to Florida in 2000 (obviously pre 9-11). At that time, both flights were very stressful, and at one point I thought I may not even get on the damn plane at all and just rent a car and drive from FLA to Boston. Well, for the Aruba trip, I decided to give Gabatropin a shot and see if I would be more calm during the flights. Since you can't drive home from there, I was really kind of nervous about it.

I have to say that this stuff works very well under stressful situations. I took 6 pills about 2 hours before the first leg of each flight, and then another 2 pills during the stopovers. On the way down there, I had a couple of drinks during our first stopover, and another one on the plane. This really made me feel good. I may have to try a few when going out drinking as I liked that feeling a lot. I had abolutely no fear/stress response/panic attacks at all. I was amazed. Usually I get the whole panic attack thing and fight with myself about getting on the plane, and then about getting off the plane before take off yada yada yada.... This time there was nothing at all. I actually enjoyed the flights, and now feel like I can go more places on vacation, which is very cool.

Gabatropin gets a huge thumbs up from me.

I don't mean to downplay gabatropin or anything since some seem to see differences, but how do you know that it just wasn't mind over matter? I suppose even if it was it's still good, but gabatropin is an expensive product compared to how much people have to take under those kind of situations. It's like people with lots of supplements, such as cell-tech. We all know taking cell-tech as much as they reccomend will make you fatter more than anything, yet there are people who have no clue about the ingredients talking about how it gave them greater lifts and how they are getting so ripped from it. This is just something to think about.

I've thought of that myself, but to be honest, I have had problems evertime I've flown in the past with the exception of this time. The Gabatropin was the only difference. I agree that it's expensive, but, to enjoy 5-6 hours instead of freaking out for 5-6 hours, there's no contest there. I would have spent 5 times what it cost for the results I got.

In a more philo/psychological thought.. it is not un-natural to have a fear of flying... we are humans.. we shouldn't be in the air anyway!

Phenibut has quite a bit of direct scientific evidence to back it up, though, especially in terms of anxiety reduction.

Impressive, I may have to keep this with me on those days when I could really use it. Some things that normally stress people out don't stress me out, conversely some situations really make me anxious. When cash is more readily available I might pick this up.
