Complete Whey
I need to gain weight (130 lbs.) thinking of using whey protein but I've heard that casein feeds cancer cells. Does anyone know is whey contains casein?

Casein protein is a type of protein as is whey. I have never heard of casein protein causing cancer, where the hell did you hear that?? If you are looking to gain weight read the sticky in the diet section to start and read around a bit. YOu came to a good place to learn..welcome.

"The China Study" is a book detailing the results of a 27 year experiment with rats fed with casein. If its true then its shocking. I'm still not sure if casein protein and whey protein are the same or just similar.

Whey and casein come from milk, but they are quite different in composition (curds(casein) and whey). Studies show whey intake inhibits tumor formation in lab animals and improves immune function.
