just started using b5 @ 4g ed in preparation for a cycle of 1 ad and 4 ad, and damn this stuff tastes nasty. any advice on how to take this stuff without gagging? assume i don't have access to a cap em quick machine. because i don't. i mixed it in my protein shake and it turned my whole chocolate shake into bitter crap. suggestions welcome.

I'd try blending it with some fruits, milk, other shakes and whatever else you can think of to give it more flavor and mask the b5. You'll definitely still be able to taste it but hopefully not as much.

I use 3g in my ON choco mint protein shakes and I can't taste it at all. ?

I've heard warm water with a flavored creatine (v12, swole, satur8...) goes down pretty easy.

Agreed its very bitter though, I tried taking it just with warm water the first time, it went down all right but the aftertaste nearly made me puke.

you must take a lot of protein at once, because i put 4g in a shake that was about 12oz water and 2 scoops of ON chocolate, and i nearly lost it. at this point, i think my only solution is to somehow encapsulate the powder in something that will hide the taste (ie cottage cheese or apple sauce). maybe if i do it this way, the b5 will be in my stomach before my poor tastebuds have to suffer. but jesus, lots of people take b5 on cycle to stop acne. they can't all just hold their nose and down it. i am seriously perplexed. obviously, i'm going to man up and down this stuff no matter how bad it tastes. but [sob] there has to be a better way!

Again I'll say that sugar-free Koolaid works wonderfully for me for masking B5. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot.

If that doesn't work, you could try to basically do a shot of it. I do this a lot of the time when I'm in a hurry. Hold your nose, add just enough water where it won't stick to the sides, and throw it back.

yeah, it looks like the shot thing will probably be what i end up doing. fuck, it tastes bad. i'm such a baby. i'll look into that kool aid thing, though. don't know if they have it in the UK, but i'll keep an eye out.

I usually have 1.5 scoops protein with 12oz skim milk.

I bought powder B5 3-4 years ago, and will never do that again. It only saved me pennies off each dosed, but like you said, it was just so awful to take. Eventually i bought a capsules maker, and capped them myself... which actually made them more expensive than just getting them in pill form.

i put 3gr of B5 powder in yogurt that has the fruit in it with some gronola and i can't taste the powder
