25 year old male with history of depression and anxiety. Used phenibut at 2 grams twice daily for relief of above symptoms. Was able to stop taking SSRI and benzo meds for 3 monthes. However tolerance for phenibut develops quickly and it soon became ineffective at any dose. I found that
I'm still able to take it with good results but thave to go on a 2 week on 2 week off schedule for good results.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe try rhodiola on your off weeks?

I have used Phenibut for over one year on a nightly basis. I use it for sleep. I have noticed no tolerance problems. I am a light skinned red head which plays a part in drug response. One half of a teaspoon works well for me. Any increase in dosage produces apnea and inability to sleep at night. Maybe this is a strange
response to the substance but, I have developed NO tolerance to it in over a year.
definite tolerance problems. I'm looking though for a minor high as oppose to using it as a sleeping agent or for anxiety. Phenibut hasn't been too successful in my quest, i heard it could be possibly because i'm currently on a ketosis type diet.

twice i mixed phenibut with piracetam and enjoyed it much more. The last time I had phenibut and it was kicking in is when i would mix it with piracetam. it doesn't seem to work that well by itself for me

Don't take over 4g at one dosing. That caused me to experience extreme dizziness, nausea, hot flushes, and headaches.

what has been most effective for me is taking two doses. about 3 to 4 hours apart. one at say 5 p.m. and then again at 9 p.m. when i wanted the phenibut to kick in. In that process I also took piracetam at 5 p.m. but it probably isn't necessary. If this stuff is being ineffective try the two dose method

I don't see what the light skin red head has to do with anything...
I am a red head and started taking phenibut at 4-6 grams dissolved in water and allowing the water to stay in my mouth.

What I like about it is taking phenibut before drinking actually allows to drink alot less...

Strangely, the few times I've used phenibut I haven't noticed its effects until the next day.

Great stuff, though.

I think alexoc949 is on to something RE: using in combination w Piracetam. Recently took Phenibut minus Piracetam for the first time ever and I didn't feel the near the usual effect.

Can anyone give me a full consensus of the affects of this supplement? Less stress/anxiety? Additional energy? Higher Libido?

I haven’t found that many brands that carry this product, but any recommendations?

Sensitivity to things like alkaloids. Its been shown with blue eyes vs. brown eyes and i'd imagine issues with redhair and the virtually untannable.

In theory at one time there were an equal division of brown, blue eyes and redheads but over time, they died off because of things like hypersentisitivty to the things found... "gathered".

eg. Magic mushrooms...
