If Aniracetam reaches peak blood levels (and effect) at 2 hours and is gone by 6 hours, would 500mg every 2 hours all day be reasonable? Does it matter that you've dosed previously in the day? Or does it add up to too much by the evening (where I would be up to gram 5+)?

Is 1500mg for optimal effects over a 4-hour period? OR for optimal effects split throughout the day? -Will

1.5g is a full-fledge daily dosage: higher doesn't seem to provide much benefit, and starts to induce negative sides like insomnia.

Best would be to do ~250mg every 2-3 hours or so to reach a max daily of a gram and a half, although that would be painstakingly tedious. I tend to just take 500-750mg first thing in the morning and then a second equal dose mid-afternoon.
