| [PRODUCT]1533[/PRODUCT] Is it just me or does this product provide the most intensely gruesome taste in the world of supplements. Something along the lines of putrid chemicals from a low grade laboratory. Not sure if it works but I definitely do not look forward to taking the supplement at all. Not sure if its worth it. |

| No its not just you. For its price and effectiveness it is defiantly worth it. Try this: http://forums.bulknutrition.com/?showtopic=21642 |

| Try mixing all of your powders into a glass of low-sodium V8. This works perfectly for me...the V8 masks the taste and the bitterness/sourness of the powders. |

| It's nasty, you get used to it. Can;t really taste it in a PWO shake. |

I'm only using mono, but I've never had a taste issue if I mix it in Crystal Lite or in my PWO shakes. How are you taking it right now? Like X said you get used to tastes with supplements. I hated taking fish oils at first, but after awhile you become used to it and the fish burps go away. SUCK IT UP TROOPER!!! |

It’s usually not recommend you mix creatine with anything acidic. It has potential to reduce effectiveness. Although this is mostly storage related I just don’t go there. |

That's what I was thinking as well. Probably ok if you drink it right away. Just don't mix it and store it for very long. |

| Ok...Get a tall glass of water...Get a peice if paper stick half a gram under ur tongue then get a quick long drink of water...Do this about 4-5 times and U have taken 2.5 g of CEE . Grow a set n Man up |

| Lets see now.. If its called creatine ethyl ester HCl... thats an organic acid salt, folks. Plus, note the slightly bitter taste (which I use directly in water, no problemo, still am having a hard time understanding this bitch and moan about taste ...hell, try HMB if you want a taste thats hard to mask)... Could it be that CEE is FRICKING ACIDIC to begin with?? Thence, dear X, mixing it with other acid moieties will, in fact, slightly increase the solubility and will not effect uptake in a pH 1.5 stomach, eh? |
| Posted by: BFiddy Nov 23 2005, 03:55 PM | ||
Um...not a salt. |

| I have no problem with mixing it with crystal light lemonade(or ,when on the road,with gatorade) I make a nice cocktail with that,the NO2 powder,the citruline malate you want to taste gross,try horney goat weed |

That's why I stated it's mostly a storage issue. The degradation half-life of creatine follows an inverted U along the pH scale, with the bottom estimated to be somewhere around a pH of 4. In acids about the strength of orange juice (pH of 3), creatine still has a degradation half-life of over seven days. In substances that are even more acidic (such as stomach acid), the degradation half-life is actually much longer – for example, it is 55 days at a pH of 1.4. This means that creatine can easily make it through the digestive tract with very little degradation. |

| I mix 2g w/ about 2-3 ounces of cold water, and just down that. Then I pound as much water as I can afterward. It's becoming more bearable as time goes on. Don't try it in room temp. water though. Nasty. |

I was going to ask about Gakic. saw you use it. How do you like it overall interms of better workouts? Do you notice more stamina more power,etc? I cant seem to get an answer on this because people who have never used it have such a HATE lol for the company that makes it that most posts just say how the company is "evil" . thanks |

| I'm always surprised to hear people talk about how bad CEE tastes...IMO there are much worse. BN's Caffeine for example, I can't stand that stuff. I will take CEE any day over a lot of stuff... |

yeah, i got a good bit more power out of benching. thats the main day i use it. dont want the body to get too used to it. all in all, i say its worth it. at least to try once. the basic example i use for it is, hammer strength decline press, went from 180-6 reps up to 215-10 reps. it deffinatly helped me. |

| I bought some Bulk CEE, I just mask it with Cytomax, I can't taste it at all.... But by itself it tastes like rancid ass |
| Posted by: BFiddy Nov 28 2005, 09:20 AM | ||
Just how much ass have you tasted to be able to tell the difference between fresh ass and rancid ass? |

| Weird, last time I cycled CEE, it resembled Vitamin-C(no bitterness, however, very sour)....I actually didin't mind it, compared to a lot of Herbs....but then again, I have even come about slightly different tastes, and potency of even Aniracetam orders(of course of which are small personal orders)..... could possibly switching distributors or techniques of production cause a change of taste? |
