Complete protien diet by optimum is one of the only economy based ones.

I have my girlfriend on Ultra Peptide by Xtreme Formulations right now. She is doing USA's to get her fitness pro card in July.

GF Pro if you want a different taste, not sure if I would use it as a constant source of protein, but is good for a change up.

If it didn't have to be a true blend, I'd say MRM Metabolic Whey. They will have a 10lb version out soon. Everyone gets tired of optimum after a while.

Beverly Muscle Provider - Vanilla flavor.

* Mixed with water, tastes great.
* Mixed with Milk, tastes awesome
* Mixed with Heavy Cream and Orange soda (recipe on side of jug) to quote Max32, "tastes like a fuckin milkshake" biggrin.gif

This is the best tasting Whey I've ever tried.
Plus, it's only 1.3g fat, 2.7g Carb, with 22g protein

I order my own blend from Protein Factory and quite like it. It’s 50% CFM whey protein isolate (for anabolism), 40% milk protein isolate (which is mostly casein for sustained release of protein to slow down catabolism), 5% egg white protein, and 5% XT soy protein isolate. Including shipping, it's about $85 fo 10 pounds--that's cheaper and much higher quality than most blends you can buy in the canister.

homemade or custom blends are the way to go with protein blends.

Complete protien diet by optimum is one of the only economy based ones.

I have my girlfriend on Ultra Peptide by Xtreme Formulations right now.  She is doing USA's to get her fitness pro card in July.

Thumbs up for these suggestions. Went with chocolate versions of the first two and am very happy with them.

Optimum: Complete Protein Diet gets a 'B+' for value and 'B' for overall taste. Has great flavor, but to be critical, mixed it is a little chalky. Anything above an 'F' in my book is something I would take for awhile if the price is right so definitely a winner.

XS: Ultra Peptide gets a 'C+' for value and an 'A+' for flavor. Haven't had it since I was a kid, but I could have sworn I was drinking Nestle's Quik! Unbelievable that it has 0 grams of sugar. Go, go sucralose. Good stuff.

Also thanks for taking care of that issue. Had a problem with the Advantage Matrix I purchased earlier and Mike handled it very well. Saw the forums and this thread and got a chance to be smart about making purchases the second time.
