Well got my Ecdysten yesterday, want to thank stallion for letting me be a tester.
Here's my stats.

27 years old
Male
6ft
215 lbs. @15% body fat using calipers, Currently Bulking

Body Type: Endomorph

Short term goal:
Bring my body weight up to 225 lbs if I stay about 15% body fat, adding an extra 5lbs of mass for each 5% bodyfat that I gain until I finish my bulking phase (aprox. late spring.)

Long term goal:
Bodybuilding-Increase size(mass) while increasing strength but muscle size comes first.


Training Experience: Have been lifting some since for 10yrs but really started training right about 4 years ago, have been eating correctly for about 3 months now and wow have made major gains. I am a firefighter so I have the time to train right/eat right daily.

Current Training Schedule:
Day 1-Chest
Day 2-Back
Day3-Triceps
Day4-Quads, Calves
Day5-Shoulders, traps, neck
Day6-Biceps, Forearms
Day7-Hamstrings (if not worked on Day 4) and Calves
I do abs 3-4 days a week depending on how sore they are.
Usually workout in the AM because of research on testostrone levels in the body.

Cardio Schedule: Not currently doing cardio due to bulking phase.

Current Supplements:
Centrum Proformace Multi-Vitamin Twice daily
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey 2-3 Shakes a day 1 scoop mixed with 8oz. skim milk
Optimum Nutrition 100% Casein 1 scoop mixed with 10oz. skim milk at bedtime
Bulk Nutrion CEE bulk powder 2grams pre and post workout
Bulk Nutrion AAKG bulk powder 3grams 3-4 times/day, 1pre and post workout, and at bedtime, the forth is taken upon waking if I workout in the afternoon.
Ecdostyrene 300mg 3times daily
Now Foods Flax Seed oil at bedtime 1000mg
Bulk Nutritions Taurine Bulk powder 1200mg pre and post workout
Bulk Nutritions ZMA aprox. 30 min. before bedtime protein shake.

Current Diet:
I eat 6-8 meals a day intake aprox. 4300 cals/day trying to eat every 2 1/2 hours
example of meals as follows meats are either turkey, chiken breast, lean beef or deer steaks.
meal 1 preworkout meal-protein shake, bananna,
meal 2 postworkout meal-protain shake, bananna, 2 TBS. Honey, Bowl of whole grain cereal with skim milk, glass orange juice, and drink cereal milk.
meal 3 200grams meat, serving of fruit either peaches or pinapple
meal 4 200grams meat, serving of vegatables, either greens beans or broccli
meal 5 2 fillets of salmon or 3 fillets of tilapia and large baked potato
meal 6 200grams meat, serving of fruit
meal 7 casein protein shake
meal 8 100 grams meat and serving of vegtables, this is fit in during the day if i get hungry or time allows depending of what time I wake up and go to bed since I try to eat every 2 1/2 hours.

Current Water intake:
I take in between 1 and 1 1/2 gallons of water per day depending on workouts and how I feel, I also drink gatorade aprox. 10 days per month about 32oz.


Current Perscriptions:
I take no perscriptions and never use recreational drugs

supplement history:
Have taken all current supplements for 3-4 months with the exception of the whey protein, have been taking if for about 1 year, I took creatine mono before the CEE for about 1 year, cycling it 1month on 1month off.

Started taking Ecdysten Today. I am going to take 2caps 3x daily for the duration of the test.

have still been taking 2caps 3x daily.

So far have not seen any extreme changes.

still have been taking same dosage, no sides, but still no noticable changes. Have seen a slight increase in strength but not enough to say that It's for sure the Ecdysten doing it or I may just be getting a little stronger.

You better do some cardio. I am a Firefighter too and I weigh 230 and my ass goes through my bottle in about 14 minutes.

I always come out of the maze with my mask-a-buzzin first.

I am in great shape, but because of my mass I just suck that 4500lb bottle quick.

Do you have the same issue?

well I was running about 2 1/2 miles on the days I worked (10 days a month) and doing some other cardio before I started bulking a couple months ago. I am still in good shape cardio wise, granted not quite as good as I was but no problems. I will be done bulking in about a month and will start back up then. My workouts can be pretty intense so that helps keep me in shape cardio wise.

Well I'm up to aprox. 20% bodyfat, if it goes up any more I'm going to start tapering the groceries and maybe doing light cardio(walking) to maintain. Still can't tell any effects that I can for sure contribute to this product, still taking 2caps 3x daily. Have gained about 2lbs since I have been on it but I would contribute that more to the groceries.

well have gained about another 1lb. strength is still increasing. I curled 55lb dumbels for 8reps each the other day for 3 sets. Still I would attribute the biggest part of my gains to my other sups. Food, and hard work in the gym.

Worked biceps today, still lifting with heavy weights, have had some elbow pain from doing bi's and tri's, hopefully the glucosamine will help.

just wanted to clarify to others reading, he is taking 30mg X 3 doses per day, NOT 300mg X 3. biggrin.gif

EDIT: also, perhaps i missed it but please inform me on your approx. breakdown of P/C/F.....and did you up the P for this log?

I am trying to consume roughly 300grams of protein/day, aprox. 3500, cal. and have been consuming about 40-60 grams of fat/day.

I finished my last bottle of Ecdysten two days ago. I gained about 3-4 lbs. (depending on what day I weigh) mostly muscle I think. Have gained some in the strength department. And have put about another 1/4 inch on my biceps. I can't say for sure that the Ecdysten did all of this or if it is my diet since I am bulking. If I were buying it I think I would try 3 or so bottles instead of the 2 I tried. Well either way I gained 3lbs of muscle which is good for me. Would like to say thanks to the Thermolife reps for giving me this opprotunity and would be honored to test any of their suplements in the future.
