Looks pretty solid. I might throw in a little extra hamstring work on both leg days. For instance, maybe stiff leg deads on leg day #1 and leg curls on leg day #2. I also might throw the deadlifts in with the upper body day. For instance, 3 sets of deads followed by three sets of lat pulldowns.

I also would arrange it so you're not doing SL deads and deadlifts on consecutive days. For instance, you could do deadlifts on upper day #1 and SL deads on leg day #2 to give your lower back some time to recover. Just my 2cc's.

Thanks for the advices bro. To be honest, I went with the lower body lifts that I have the most experience with and enjoy the most. I actually don't ever really work the hamstrings.

I've fallen in love with doing deadlifts sumo, so whenever I refer to plan "deads" assume that I'm doin em sumo. I put em on lower body day cuz sumo works the hams and glutes pretty well.

Dude...the clean&press was so hard today after having done rows, inlcline bench and chinups. Pumped to start my drive/rpm stack and start getting close to resembling jacked and tan.

Cool. Since I've gotten back into SFW consistently in the past 6 weeks or so, I've actually gained weight, yet started looking a bit more trim. I'm weighing about 246 now and my waistline is staying right around 36.5". I'm starting to see sum10 that resembles abs also. which is nice.

My strength is still lagging far behind where it was, but I keep forgetting I was all juiced up back then! laugh.gif

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your log with my stuff!

No worries bro, glad to hear you're back into it. I'm the same way bro...want to have both, be strong and look deez. Keep up the SFW and eat right and you'll look fine. You've got plenty of muscle memory just waiting to kick in.

You should update your log when you SFW. Besides me, Will, Jason and Rich hardly anyone logs their workouts anymore.

ohmy.gif JW! C'mon bro. Throw in some straight-legs and leg curls! It will definitely add some thickness to those wheels and support your squat strength.

I haven't done upper/lower body training personally in ages. It should be a good change of pace.

Werd on the hammies. Once you start working hams, you'll notice a big increase in the size of your legs. SL deads always kill my hams.

Thanks for the advices brah, but why no high rep burnout stuff?

Part of me wants to jack up heavier weights for 4-8 reps, etc...but I always wind up doing more reps, sets, etc.

Not a big fan of burnout, specially since it was only one chest lift. Mix up the reps 4-6, 8-10, 12-15. You obviously had some more in the tank for big weight if you could get 12 or w/e for 145. You want your body to adapt to the 225 and get stronger.

I appreciate the help bro. Gonna try to load up the bar and get bigger/stronger and resist the urge to lighten it up and pound out reps.

Took a few days off from SFW. Had some doctors appointments and found out I have Bells Palsy and have been slightly bugged out about it.

Holy shit!  That sucks.  Is part of your face paralyzed?

The entire right half. Very freaky, you could take a magic marker and draw a line from my forehead, right between my eyes, down to my mouth. Everything on the left is fine, but I can't control much on the right. Even my tongue, right down the middle.

It started on Sunday/Monday, out of nowhere. Very random. I can feel everything, it's not numb, but the nerve that allows me to manipulate the muscles that control the right half of my face must have become inflamed/irritated, thus robbing me of that control.

Saw a neurologist yesterday and it was confirmed...Bell's Palsy. Sounds really scary, but 70% of people recover within a couple weeks. Some people it might take months or even a year.

My right eye doesn't blink very often, so it's been getting pretty dry/irritated/bloodshot, so I've been using eye drops, manually using my finger to close my eye every now and then and even wearing an eyepatch at times.

I think I'll be OK soon though. Yesterday, I'd say I had about 20% control of the right side of my face. Today, it feels more like 25% or 30%.

Damn. Can you the right eye to sleep?

A friend of mine had that once. It took him about a month to regain control.

I can shut the right eye, but I have to shut them both to do it and it's not terribly easy.
