Packers are looking at signing Jason Taylor! Hot damn!

since we're on the madden 09 thing, that would put the two highest rated DE's on the same team! Oh I'm praying right now!

Well I'm a Packers fan, have been for as long as I can remember (even though I'm originally from Ohio...shhh!) I just wanna see how Aaron Rodgers is going to do now that Brett Favre is gone. Should be interesting. He did good in college, but the NFL ain't college.

i think rodgers will be alright....prolly like a rating in the high 70's - mid 80's...he's had a lot of time to know the system and has a good recieving core...also the pack has a solid defense

what does everyone think of tavarious jackson....from what i remember he was decent at the end of the year and they got the weapons for him if he just stays consitant and makes better choices

The NFL Network has hired Giants play-by-play radio announcer Bob Papa to replace Bryant Gumbel in the TV booth.

The surprise is that Tom Hammond didn't get the job, but either way this will be a monster upgrade. Papa also calls HBO's Boxing After Dark and hosts the Opening Drive on Sirius NFL Radio with Peter King and Randy Cross.

I'm glad to see they got rid of Gumbell. He was so uninteresting it was a joke. You'd think he were a golf announcer.
