With the prices of protein skyrocketing I'm sure you guys will appreciate this. Vitamin shoppe is doing a pretty much unadvertised buy one get one 50% off sale on body tech and Vshoppe brand products. So I just got 11 lbs of whey pro (24g per scoop) for $56. Normally I'm a stern ON fan on all protein products but I saved over 20 bucks so I'm content.

How's the VShoppe brand taste? I once tried the house GNC protein and that tasted like fermented shit.

Haven't even tried it yet. I used up my last ON 100% whey today so I should know tomorrow what it tastes like. Can't be that bad. And even if it is, oh well. I'm poor and I consume over 250 grams of protein a day so It'll do. (Mostly chicken, I hate chicken now).

Vshopp isnt bad if you know someone working there either... My buddy hooked me up with RTD muscle milks... 24 pak for 26 bucks. I personally have never tried their protein though. The friend that works there said he uses it and it taste pretty good..

Vanilla. They didn't have strawberry and I can't handle the fake chocolate flavor in protein shakes. So I usually do vanilla, banana, or strawberry.

I have had their chocolate mint before, when i was strapped for cash...it is thicker and more minty tasting than ON, which is the only other mint choco chip i have tried

I'll admit it doesn't taste as good as ON. But it's tolerable. It tastes a little more bland and has that sort of artificial sweetener feel to it. Does BN make bulk protein? That would b sweet.

Unrelated question, I remember the BN CEE tastes like regurgitated rat poisen, is there CM tolerable? I've been using CM lately instead of CEE due to taste and price.

Whats the best price out there right now for decent protein powder?

Been using Dymatize and that stuff has been pretty good as far as recovery, taste, and digestion.

$33/5lb and $65/10lb best I've seen for Dymatize, but willing to switch if its got the enzymes, a good ratio of BCAA's, and is good preWO.

a lot of times protein powder will taste bad when u first switch to it, but then u get used to it and like it.

most choc wheys are good to me if u blend them with oats and PB.
syntha-6 is prob the best tasting imo. not the best deal around tho

I got that protein from Walmart once when I ran out of my usual brand. I liked it. It was the vanilla flavor.

I think 90% of protein powders taste fine. I've tasted many. The only two that were completely disgusting to me were GNC brand strawberry whey and all flavors of allthewhey.com except cinnamon bun.

ya GNCs strawberry was the one i was actually thinking about that was god awful. i got used to it tho. their choc is good and most other flavors are too.

i usually just get choc whey but some more expensive proteins have great flavors. all of sytha-6s are good. freak fix is actually awsome. i only got those when i'd take returns when i worked at gnc tho. now its back to cheap choc whey

GNC strawberry is the worst i've ever tasted. I usually don't mind any protien powder, but that's a diff story.<br><br><br>
