Unfortunatly 100 pitches is a max. I hate seeing a great performance ruined or stopped because of a pitch count. You have to play to win each game. If santana blows the next game oh well. Case n point why you cannot let an unreliable bullpen lose what could be a easier victory |
Yeah 100 as been the line for years...Anymore and its getting up there..The only time its normal is when pitchers like dicek, whos used to throwing tons, and wake, who doesnt throw hard. Other than that, the bullpen needs to take over and get their starter, and their team, the win.
