This is a great supplement! In the Oat form, it has been used to help with nicotine addiction, opium addiction, used in baths to help itchy skin. When consumed regularly, oat germ reduces blood cholesterol levels.
They are of particular value in helping a person to cope with the exhaustion that results from multiple sclerosis, chronic neurological pain and insomnia. Oats are thought to stimulate sufficient nervous energy to help relieve insomnia

I read that 1000-1500mg./day is a good dosage. Avena sativa releases T bound to albumin, free T stimulates growth in new hair follicles. So theoretically avena sativa will correct male pattern balding if you have sufficent blood circulation to scalp (to carry free T there).

I hear 2 - 4 grams a day is the be the best dosage, espeically after a juice cycle smile.gif

OK for the dosage but when to take it??? Before Working-Out or/& on an empty stomach, with a meal, before sleep... ????????

the container says 1500mg 1-3 times a day which is a half a teaspoon. i've only taken it a few times, i read it helps with sleep so i take it at night with my zma
